"If we had bombed central London..."
Elena Vaelbe Trubitsina, three-time Olympic cross-country skiing champion and now president of the national federation, bitterly dissaproves that her country is from now on banned from international sport.
"Sooner or later, Russia will return to international competitions," believes the President of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Federation since 2010, the former glory of Russian sport thinks that her country should have resorted to force to obtain its reinstatement.
In this regard, her statements are chilling:
"If we had bombed the center of London, we would have already obtained permission to participate in competitions again. Russia has been fighting against the outside world for centuries. It has never appreciated us. And even when it pretends to love us, it has a knife hidden behind its back."
Before concluding:
"I like the idea of a strong state and it's worth noting that our power irritates the whole world."
