France is going to hurt Russian soldiers badly

For two months now, the Ukrainian “Anne de Kiev” brigade (named after a princess of Kiev who became the wife of King Henry I of France) has been training in the Marne department of France.

Training comes to an end at Camp Mourmelon.

The Anne de Kiev Battalion comprises 4,500 soldiers, 2,000 of whom are trained in France. Most are conscripts with no field experience, accompanied by 300 Ukrainian supervisors, reports Le Monde. Three infantry battalions, engineers and artillery experts are being trained by 1,500 French personnel in the “Champagne” training unit.

The Anne de Kiev unit is due to be deployed in the Ukraine shortly, bringing a breath of fresh air to the soldiers there. It will be joined on the front by the rest of the armed forces trained in Ukraine. In addition, the battalion will benefit from and be fully equipped with French equipment: “128 armored personnel carriers, anti-tank and anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as other weapons and equipment, 18 AMX 10 light tanks, 18 truck-mounted Caesar artillery pieces”.
