France gives green light to Zelensky for use of long-range missiles
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said Saturday in an interview with British public broadcaster BBC that Ukraine could also use French long-range missiles against Russia “according to the logic of self-defense.”
The French minister's statement comes days after Ukraine fired American and British long-range missiles at Russia. It is not yet clear whether Ukraine has already effectively fired French missiles at Russia.
Asked whether French troops could also be deployed, the minister replied that “no option is ruled out.” “Every time the Russian military moves one square kilometer, the threat moves one square kilometer closer to Europe,” he echoed.
