Betrayal: US embassy targeted by spy
A Norwegian man who worked as a security guard at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo has been arrested on suspicion of spying for Russia and Iran.
Local authorities allege that the accused passed classified information to both countries, a serious crime in the Nordic nation.
The man, 27-year-old Mohamed Orahhou, was taken into custody after allegedly providing secret intelligence to Russian and Iranian agents. While he has admitted to having contact with foreign nations, no details about the nature of the illegal exchanges have been disclosed.
Mohamed Orahhou is expected to spend several weeks in custody as the investigation continues.
The U.S. Embassy has declined to comment on the matter.
