CIA confirms real danger to European targets
According to the CIA, Russia is considering retaliating with greater force against the United States and its partners if they agree to allow the Ukrainians to use long-range missiles supplied by the West for strikes inside Russia.
US President Joe Biden doesn't want to give the green light to the Ukrainians to use long-range weapons deep inside Russia, because otherwise it would be the entry into World War III. The Ukrainians think the opposite. They say it's a bluff; the Americans say isn't.
According to the New York Times, the CIA has been working on a list of potential reactions from the Vladimir Putin regime if this green light were given. And according to the CIA, these would be primarily sabotage.
The daily publishes the statements of the American high command:
"Vladimir Putin could increase acts of arson and sabotage, including potentially deadly attacks against American and European military bases on the territory of the European Union."
