Giant billboard blows over: 14 dead and 74 injured
On Monday, a violent gust of wind caused a 70-by-50-metre billboard to topple over in Mumbai. A lot of people got the gigantic billboard on them and were crushed.
At least 14 people were killed and 74 others injured in the accident in the eastern suburb of Ghatkopar.
The billboard is said to have rocked back and forth for some time first, after which it crashed into some houses and a petrol station. An investigation will be opened into the tragedy. Mumbai was hit by severe stormy weather on Monday.
