Man attacks baby with scalding hot coffee in park
A barely nine-month-old baby boy underwent multiple surgeries and spent more than a week in the hospital after being doused with scalding hot coffee by an unknown person at Hanlon Park in Brisbane, Australia.
The baby suffered severe burns. Police are looking for the perpetrator, who clearly deliberately attacked the baby. He immediately fled the scene after his attack. The man is between 30 and 40 years old, with tanned skin. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black hat, glasses, a T-shirt, and shorts.
The boy's mother still has a hard time grasping what happened to her innocent child, who will carry the scars of this attack for life. “I can't process what happened to Luka,” the mother continued. “The crying, the pain, every little problem triggers me immediately, taking me back to that traumatic moment. Constant flashbacks... I feel like a helpless mother who cannot protect her son the way she wants to. I love my children more than anything else in the world.”
