Trump supporter calls on Biden to wear Trump cap
Did the President of the United States make a bad call?
This Wednesday, September 11, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris showed up at the Shanksville fire station, a Pennsylvania town where United Flight 93 crashed exactly 23 years ago. While waiting for the wreath-laying ceremony at the Flight 93 memorial, the President gathered with several spectators, including a man wearing a “Trump 2024” cap, “Make America Great Again”. This spectator, clearly pro-Trump, invited Biden to put on his cap, which he briefly did. A surprising and symbolic gesture that was interpreted as an attempt to show a spirit of bipartisanship in moments of commemoration, reports the media 20 Minutes.
A filmed scene that is currently making the rounds on social media is garnering strong reactions. Especially since the Trump activist punctuated the sequence with a rather borderline, even inappropriate remark: "Now, I'm proud of you, old f***!"
