Trump in freewheeling: his staff loses control
According to observers on the ground, in the final stretch towards the elections, Donald Trump is moving further and further away from his notes, from his files; Trump is no longer listening to his communication specialists, who are tearing their hair out.
"He's freewheeling," said one of his staff members anonymously.
The campaign is increasingly violent, Trump is increasingly radical and more and more aggressive. A few days ago, he attacked Liz Cheney, who is a former Republican who loathes him, saying that she might be less warmongering if guns were put to her head.
This weekend, he attacked journalists whom he calls fake news propagators and whom he would like to see serve as his protection if he were shot. Worse still, he continues to claim victory in 2020 and affirms "I should never have left".
Trump has already announced that if he loses to Kamala Harris, he will not accept defeat, and believes that if he does lose, it will be due to cheating. The country is on edge just hours before an election that is predicted to be dangerous and violent.
