He proposes 24 hours of free violence police
In the midst of his election campaign, Republican candidate Donald Trump has multiplied outrages during a rally in the city of Erie in Pennsylvania.
Donald Trump has proposed a really tough, nasty and violent day of police retaliation. A measure with which, according to the former American president, seeks to put an immediate end to crime.
In front of his supporters, he said:
"If we ever instituted violence... oh please, let them do it, let them rob your store, but (...) one hour of violence, and I mean real violence against the thieves, the news will spread and they will stop immediately."
Statements also shocked some members of the Republican Party that the American press compared to "Kristallnacht", infamous from 1938.
"Donald Trump gave one of the most dangerous speeches of the 21st century by describing his strategy to reduce crime as Kristallnacht," said an editorialist in Newsweek.
