Harris: “If someone breaks into my house, they'll get shot”
Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, was a guest at a campaign event hosted by famous American talk show host Oprah Winfrey and was presented with some hot-button issues, such as gun violence in the US.
Harris is pushing for stricter gun laws, but assured that she doesn't want to take away firearms from Americans and that she supports the Second Amendment.
The American vice president reiterated that she herself owns a firearm. "If someone breaks into my house, they will be shot," she said, before laughing: "Sorry. I probably shouldn't have said that. My staff will deal with that later."
