Harris distrusts conversation with Putin
U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, if she wins the upcoming presidential election, will not meet Russian President Vladimir Putin without representatives from Ukraine. The Democratic presidential candidate said so Monday in an interview on the CBS program 60 Minutes.
One asked Harris if she would meet with Putin about a possible halt to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. “Not bilaterally, without Ukraine. No, Ukraine should have a say in the future of Ukraine. If Trump were president, Putin would be in Kiev right now. He says he can end the earlop on day one. Do you know what that is? It's about giving up,” she echoed.
Donald Trump has already stated several times that if he is re-elected, he will dramatically reduce or completely end support for Kiev. He also professed on high and low that he could stop the war within 24 hours.
