Assassination attempt on Trump at Florida golf course
Donald Trump's campaign team said on Sunday that the former president and Republican candidate was safe after shots were fired towards him.
According to the FBI, it was an assassination attempt. A man was arrested by the secret services. He was in possession of an AK 47 with a scope and a GoPro that he had hidden in the bushes in the Mar Lago golf course in Florida
He was spotted by the secret services, when an agent who was securing the golf course spotted a rifle on another hole of the golf course, just before Donald Trump arrived. Trump was 250m away. The agent fired and the man responded by firing too. 4 to 6 shots took place between the agents and the suspect around the golf course. The suspect fled in a car and was arrested a few kilometers further.
