Brand new Ferrari: the most powerful in history
Introducing the Ferrari F80, the successor to the 2016 LaFerrari Aperta. This new supercar boasts a hybrid engine with a combined power output of 1,200 horsepower!
And of course, it's red. The F80 is the latest supercar from the Prancing Horse. This sports car features butterfly doors, inviting drivers to glide over the roads, especially given its powerful hybrid engine. By combining the power of a V6 and three electric motors, the F80 generates 1,200 hp, making it the most powerful road car ever produced by Ferrari. Such a privilege comes at a cost—before taxes, the F80 is priced at 2.9 million euros, which will push the price over 3.5 million euros in most markets.
A Winning Quartet
The rear-mounted internal combustion V6 engine is a 3.0-liter powerhouse delivering 900 hp and 850 Nm of torque. The rear electric motor adds another 81 hp to assist the combustion engine. At the front, each of the two electric motors generates 142 hp, for a combined 284 hp, giving the F80 all-wheel drive. The V6 is paired with an 8-speed F1-style robotic gearbox, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.15 seconds. In 5.75 seconds, it hits 200 km/h. Its top speed is capped at 350 km/h!
The car's aerodynamics have been meticulously designed to ensure these impressive performances, while remaining drivable both on the track and the road. Some Formula 1 technology has also been integrated into the chassis. Additionally, the car's suspension features active adjustment, constantly fine-tuning the ride height for optimal performance.
