Insomnia Alert: Revive your complexion in a couple minutes
Dark circles under your eyes, dull complexion, drawn features: there's no doubt about it, fatigue is the cause. Lack of sleep affects both your morale and your pretty face. So, after an exhausting night during which you were counting the minutes, how can you restore the radiance to your face? How do you eradicate the signs of fatigue?
You might be interested in these skincare and makeup techniques that will give you a healthy glow.
First of all, don't despair in front of the mirror. You'll need a little patience and, above all, a good facial massage. First of all, reactivate the microcirculation of your face by tapping your face gently with your fingertips. You can also use a jade stone roller, a tool well known by the beauty world; the cold stone will have a decongestant and soothing effect on your skin. If the bags under your eyes are significant, place the back of a cold spoon under the affected area or apply cornflower floral water. This water is known for its fatigue-relieving properties.
Once this first step is done, you'll already see the difference in your skin which will be fresher and more toned. Proceed with your usual skincare routine, always trying to optimize the healthy glow effect with draining massages. So don't hesitate to repeat the same gestures throughout the application of your skin care.
Finally, work on your makeup. In general, when you're tired, complexion products don't hold on to the skin well, they actually tend to move or migrate. So have a light hand. Opt for a BB or CC cream, a product between skincare and foundation. This cream will be a first unifying layer, a tinted veil that will gently camouflage your redness. Don't forget to brighten your under-eye area with a concealer that's a little lighter than your skin tone and choose the concealer as a cream texture so that it doesn't weigh down and further mark small fine lines on your skin. If you have oily skin, loose powder will be your best friend, and for all skin types in general, it will help set the tinted cream. A little mascara to open up your eyes, a line of nude pencil (not white) in the inner mucous membrane of your eyes in order to hide the redness of the eye, a discreet touch of highlighter above the cheekbones and you're ready for a day full of energy.
Never to be missed in case of insomnia: blush. This step is essential to give a healthy glow. Pink or coral, applied to the top of the cheeks enhances the makeup and gives a fresh effect as if "You just took a nice walk in the woods".
Let's hope that the insomnia is only temporary!
