In Ukraine, on Tuesday, September 3, a particularly deadly attack hit an institute specializing in telecommunications education and a hospital in Poltava, a city located 150km southwest of Kharkiv. Two Russian ballistic missiles hit the Institute of Communication and a neighboring hospital. One of the institute's buildings was partially destroyed. This establishment trains specialists in military communication. There could therefore be highly qualified personnel among the victims.
At least 41 dead
According to Ukrainian President Vlodimir Zelensky, there are currently 41 dead and more than 180 injured. Eleven people have already been rescued from the rubble, but there could still be others. According to Ukrainian bloggers, an official ceremony with military personnel was taking place in or near the institute at the time of the attack. This was allegedly the target of the Russians. Information that seems plausible, because the Ukrainian president ordered "a complete and rapid investigation".
