"The invasion of Ukraine was a mistake"
The war in Ukraine will end when Putin decides that the invasion was a mistake and that he will not achieve his goals at an "acceptable price," the Polish foreign minister said.
For Putin, war is now a prerequisite for his rule, and probably for his physical existence, no price is too high.
"Putin doesn't care how many Russians die in "butchery attacks" and how impoverished Russia is."
"Russia's war in Ukraine will end when Putin realizes that he's no longer able to wage war. Putin himself will die one way or another."
Anton Geraschenko, official adviser and former deputy minister of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry and former member of the Ukrainian parliament, said:
"The war capabilities of the Russian economy and army are not unlimited. Helping Ukraine develop its defense industry is one of the ways to weaken Russia. Ukraine's allies have the means to wear down Russia and bring Ukraine closer to victory. We are grateful to Poland and all allies for standing by us as Ukraine defends the future of global democracy."
