Russians suffer greatest losses since invasion began
Russian forces suffered the greatest losses in October since the start of Russia's war in Ukraine nearly three years ago. So says the head of Britain's armed forces Tony Radakin to the BBC.
On average, about 1,500 Russian soldiers were killed or wounded every day in October 2024. “Meanwhile, almost 700,000 Russians have been killed or wounded by the war,” the head of the British armed forces states.
In fact, September 2024 was already the deadliest month for Russians at the front. The average death toll for the Russian army then rose to an average of 1,271 dead and seriously wounded per day. So that figure went up even more sharply in October 2024, reports British military intelligence.
