Russian meat grinder keeps running at full throttle
On average, there were some 1,271 deaths and serious injuries per day within the Russian military in September. This is according to figures from British intelligence. The Russian authorities are therefore making every effort to make up for these huge human losses, but not many Russians are still eager to fight for Putin.
With the help of much more enticing bounties and rewards, the Russians continue to replenish their troops somewhat.
The Russians are sending more and more untrained and now even elderly men to the frontline. In reality, they serve as so-called ‘cannon fodder’ to exhaust the Ukrainians. And this striking strategy, moreover, seems to be successful. Indeed, according to Ukrainian soldiers, the constant attacks rotate their ammunition stocks through them and someone of theirs is always wounded or killed as well. Moreover, Russian troops are very slowly gaining ground.
