Russian aggression threat to UK and other NATO partners
British Defence Secretary, John Healey, said there were “clear signs” that Russian aggression extended beyond Ukraine and posed a threat to the security and livelihoods of the UK and other NATO partners.
Speaking in the House of Commons, Healey said several NATO members had reported Russian drones violating their airspace, confirming claims by US and British security services that Russian intelligence services were waging a “reckless campaign of sabotage” in Europe.
“Putin is attacking our security, he's attacking our way of life. We face a decade of increasing Russian aggression, but this government will protect its people and its country,” the minister said.
