Russia wants to win the war before 2026
The end of the war in Ukraine is a top priority, not only for the two countries involved, but also for the rest of the world. Russia's wish is that the war will end in late 2025 or early 2026, with a victory.
According to Ukrainian military intelligence, the GRU, from next summer, serious problems for the Russian economy will begin, requiring mobilization that could shake the socio-political situation in the country.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, stressed that Russia will do everything possible to win and that, according to his own documents, he predicts that all its problems will begin in the summer of 2025, since the financial and economic factor as well as the socio-political factor will combine.
In addition, the head of the GRU claims that the problem of insufficient recruitment in the army is beginning to complicate the situation even more. "During this period (summer 2025), they will face a dilemma: either announce mobilization or somehow reduce the intensity of hostilities, which could ultimately prove critical for them," he said.
