Russia's largest oil depot catches fire
Early on Monday, October 7, Ukrainian forces launched a drone attack on the largest oil depot on the Crimean Peninsula.
The attack took place in Feodosia, Crimea. The depot, which can hold up to 250,000 cubic meters of oil, was consumed by flames. "Ukrainian missile units, together with other defense forces, carried out the operation as part of ongoing efforts to weaken Russia's military and economic infrastructure," the Ukrainian General Staff reported, posting footage of the fire on Telegram.
According to Igor Tkachenko, the head of the Feodosia administration, the attack did not cause any casualties.
