Russia attacks Estonia
The building where the Estonian ambassador to Ukraine resides was struck by a Russian drone, according to Estonia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As Kyiv endured another wave of Russian drone attacks, a potential diplomatic crisis was narrowly avoided after Annely Kolk’s residence was targeted in the aerial assault.
"In a new attack on Kyiv early yesterday morning, a Russian drone hit the building where Estonia’s ambassador to Ukraine, Annely Kolk, lives," the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
"Both she and her husband are unharmed," added Estonia's Foreign Minister, Margus Tsahkna, noting that no one is truly safe in Ukraine.
Since the start of the conflict, Russia has repeatedly targeted major Ukrainian cities with drone strikes.
Ukraine now braces for another harsh winter as Russian forces are expected to intensify attacks on energy infrastructure, aiming to plunge the country into darkness and cold.
