Visiting an arms factory in his hometown of St. Petersburg, Vladimir Putin announced an ambitious plan to manufacture drones.

The war and arms economy is in full swing in Russia. The Kremlin’s number ones want to develop the production of killer drones. He wanted to announce his plan from the factory:

“In total, about 140,000 drones of different types were delivered to the armed forces in 2023. This year, the production of pilot drones is expected to increase by almost 10 times. The range of drone systems will expand and unmanned boats are being created.”

He continues:

“We are preparing multipurpose robotic platforms. At the same time, most of them will be sent to the troops located on the contact line of the fighting against Ukraine.”
