'Putin no longer sleeps because of Ukrainian drone attacks'
Putin's expensive and extremely luxurious residence on the Black Sea was razed to the ground. Not by a Ukrainian attack, but the Russian president himself ordered the demolition of his summer residence early this year.
After all, Putin is terrified of Ukrainian drone attacks. At least that is what the independent Russian media outlet “Proekt” claims.
Bocharov Ruchey, as the luxurious residence is called, is located in Sochi's Tsentralny district and was built in 1955. Putin received many world leaders there over the years, and celebrated there every year the birthday of his current girlfriend, 41-year-old former gymnast Alina Kabayeva. During the corona pandemic, he also sought refuge there.
But since 2023, he stayed there for only eight days. Indeed, Putin deliberately avoids the place. In fact, he reportedly has not been there for months. And he has a good reason for that. “He fears for his life since the Ukrainian drone attacks on the resort in the fall of 2023,” it sounds. A source close to the president reportedly confirmed that information. So write investigative journalists from Proekt.
There would be a new construction project at the site, but more details are not yet known.
