Putin humiliated after worst casualties ever registered
Vladimir Putin has suffered the highest monthly losses since the start of the war in Ukraine.
According to Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, the British Chief of Defense Staff, Russia is losing at least 1,500 soldiers every day, either killed or wounded in battle, he said during an appearance on the BBC.
"Russia is about to suffer 700,000 people killed or wounded – the enormous pain and suffering that the Russian nation is having to bear because of Putin’s ambition," he said.
"There is no doubt that Russia is making tactical, territorial gains and that is putting pressure on Ukraine," he added.
Since the conflict began between the two neighboring countries, Russia is estimated to have lost more than 700,000 troops, though this figure remains approximate and unverifiable, as the Kremlin does not disclose information about its human or military losses.
The admiral emphasized that the Russian population is paying a heavy price due to one man’s decision to wage war.
Despite these significant human losses, Russian forces have regained ground in eastern Ukraine, and Vladimir Putin now has additional troops from North Korea to support continued advances.
Last week, Kyiv reported that it had already bombarded North Korean forces sent by Kim Jong Un.
