Not a Russian drone attack, but a flock of birds over Latvia
An unidentified flying object flew into Latvian airspace from Belarus on Tuesday.
Naturally, In sych cases, nerves are on edge these days. But fortunately, this time it was a misunderstanding. Or rather, a few uninvited flying guests who are welcome.
NATO fighter jets stationed at the Lielvārde base took off on Tuesday to intercept the flying object, but could not find any suspicious objects in Latvian airspace. And guess what? It was just a large flock of birds. This was announced by the Latvian Ministry of Defense.
False alarm!
