NATO confirms the disastrous news

NATO Secretary General has reported that North Korean soldiers have been deployed to Russia’s Kursk region, where Ukrainian forces continue to defend their positions following a surprise offensive last summer.

After a meeting with South Korean intelligence services, Mark Rutte confirmed the presence of North Korean troops in Russia.

The former Dutch Prime Minister revealed that over 600,000 Russian soldiers have died since the conflict began in February 2022, adding that Moscow can no longer sustain its efforts without external support.

"The deepening military cooperation between Russia and North Korea is a threat to both the Indo-Pacific and Euro-Atlantic security," Mark Rutte said during a press conference. "The deployment [of] North Korean troops to Kursk is also a sign of Putin's growing desperation," he added.

Relations between Russia and North Korea have only strengthened in recent months, a partnership the United States and Europe see as a serious threat.

Just last week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Pyongyang had sent forces to Russia, stating that 10,000 North Korean soldiers were already undergoing training there.
