Lebanon's response didn't last
The situation in southern Lebanon is tense following Hezbollah neutralization operations. The Islamist group responded to the bombings by sending a salvo of rockets.
After the death of several hundred Hezbollah sympathizers, Israeli forces also carried out intense bombings in Lebanon, during the night of Thursday to Friday. Hezbollah responded directly by using one of its usual methods: sending rockets towards Israel from southern Lebanon. Around sixty rockets were fired on Friday afternoon, September 20. All this while the Israeli air force had destroyed hundreds of rocket launchers during the night.
