“Ukraine attacked Russia with U.S. missiles”
Ukraine reportedly used U.S. long-range missiles to attack Russian territory for the first time. So reports state news agency RIA.
Ukraine reportedly used U.S. ATACMS missiles for the first time in an attack on targets on Russian territory, according to a Ukrainian medium. “The target was successfully hit,” the RBK portal reported on the authority of an anonymous source in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army, the Ukrainians took fire on an ammunition depot in the town of Karachev in Russia's Brjansk oblast in the process. However, in a post on Facebook, the General Staff did not say which weapon was used in the process. But it was said to be the American ATACMS missiles.
The Russian anti-aircraft defense would have shot five of the six missiles out of the sky, though.
