“Putin will face very heavy losses”
1,380 Russian soldiers lost in a single day. This is what the Ukrainian General Staff reports: on September 10, Tuesday, Moscow had to face a colossal loss.
This total of losses, in just 24 hours, is a strong indication of the brutality and intensity of the fighting on the frontline. Since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the number of Russian casualties amounts to 610,000, according to estimates by the British Ministry of Defense, which regularly updates its data. Its latest report is dated September 5 and predicts that the Russian army will continue to suffer heavy losses; average daily losses that will exceed 1,000 soldiers per day in September, reports The Daily Digest.
