“North Korea is our greatest threat”
Because North Korea is massively supplying military products to Russia, it remains Kiev's “biggest problem.”
On Saturday, at a conference in Kiev, the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, said: “Out of all of Russia's allies, our biggest problem comes from North Korea, because with the volume of military products it supplies, it really affects the intensity of the fighting.”
The general also admitted that the situation was becoming critical for Ukrainian forces due to “huge volumes of artillery ammunition” supplied by the North Korean authorities. “Unfortunately, we can’t do anything about it at the moment,” he said. Before adding: “The fact that they also supply ballistic missiles is unpleasant, but less serious because of their smaller quantity.”
While Pyongyang denies having supplied missiles and munitions to Russia to support the conflict in Ukraine, the investigative organization Conflict Armament Research nevertheless confirms that analyses carried out on debris proved that "missiles produced this year in North Korea are used in Ukraine".
