“Bravo Trump, I salute your sincerity”
At a press conference at the BRICS summit in Kazan, the Russian president welcomed Donald Trump's "sincere words" about his desire to end the conflict in Ukraine.
It was Thursday, October 24. Vladimir Putin returned to the former White House tenant's statements concerning his desire to end the war. According to him, Trump's words are "sincere", a sincerity that he doesn't fail to welcome. "He says he wants to do everything to end the conflict in Ukraine. It seems to me that he says it sincerely. And statements of this kind, whatever their origin, we welcome them, of course."
With the US presidential election fast approaching, the Kremlin leader believes that "the evolution of Russian-American relations after the election will depend on the United States. If they're open, we will be too. And if they don't want to, we do not have to do it".
