Kim Jong-un's army ready to confront the United States
On Tuesday, September 10, North Korean leader expressed his desire to improve the country's nuclear powers.
Faced with "more diversified threats" from the United States and South Korea, Kim Jong-un wants to continue developing North Korea's nuclear arsenal, while ensuring that Pyongyang is a "responsible" nuclear power, reports French media Le Figaro. "Our nuclear weapons, which are used to defend us, are not a threat to anyone," he assured.
The deployment capabilities of nuclear powers must, according to him, be improved. On the 76th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, he continues to hammer it home: he will redouble efforts to ensure that its armed forces, including nuclear forces, are "fully ready to fight." An announcement that comes as tensions between the two Koreas intensify by the day. Recently, 250 ballistic missile launchers were deployed on the border with the South.
