Kim Jong Un has reiterated his determination to develop an "limitless" nuclear arsenal to counter the growing cooperation between the United States and South Korea.

During a conference with military representatives on Monday, the North Korean leader condemned the partnership between Washington and Seoul, which has recently included joint military exercises. He also criticized their collaboration with Japan.

Taking advantage of the platform, Kim Jong Un denounced Western support for Ukraine and accused the West of waging a proxy war against Moscow.

To date, Pyongyang has deployed 12,000 personnel to Russia in support of Vladimir Putin. North Korea, a close ally of Moscow, could send additional troops in the future. However, during the conference, Kim did not address his military's involvement in Russia.

"The US, Japan and South Korea will never get away from the responsibility as the culprits of destroying the peace and stability of the Korean peninsula and the region," he said.

"The most important and critical task for our armed forces is preparations for a war," he added.
