Is this Zelenskyy’s last chance ?

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to unveil his "victory plan" next week during a summit in Ramstein, Germany, on October 12.

The Ukrainian leader has been talking about this plan for several months, which is supposed to lead Ukraine to victory as the conflict nears its 1,000th day.

In recent months, the situation on Ukraine’s eastern front has remained relatively stable, despite recent advances by Russian troops who have recaptured the city of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.

"We will present the victory plan, clear, specific steps for a just end to the war," the Ukrainian president wrote on Telegram.

While no details of the plan have been made public, the Ukrainian leader has already presented it to Joe Biden and other candidates in the upcoming U.S. presidential election, which will take place in November.

A spokesperson for the U.S. State Department said the plan includes "a number of productive steps."

However, an anonymous source cited by The Wall Street Journal told the media that the plan is simply another request for more weapons and the removal of restrictions on long-range arms, adding that the plan lacks any coherent strategy.
