He wants to persecute and imprison his political opponents
Trump has announced that, if elected, he will use and abuse the power of the presidency to exact revenge on Americans he feels have wronged him.
Trump has repeatedly promised to crush the enemy from within and Kamala Harris' statement “Trump has an enemies list, I have a to-do list” seems to be close to the truth.
According to Axios, a review of Trump's public statements reveals a huge catalog of targets likely to be jailed, prosecuted or otherwise punished, starting with Joe Biden. Donald Trump has threatened to appoint a “real special prosecutor to go after Mr. Biden and his family.”
In addition to Kamala Harris, he wants his opponent in the presidential race to be “indicted and prosecuted” for the way the Biden administration handled the border.
He also wants to bring former President Obama before military tribunals and has called for former Democratic Senate President Nancy Pelosi to be prosecuted for alleged insider trading.
Trump also wants to go after retired General Mark Milley. He suggested last year that the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff should stand trial for exchanging information with Chinese generals.
He does forget about his own “personal baggage,” repeated communications with Putin, his role in the attack on Capitol Hill, the fact that he took and hid top-secret documents at the end of his term, and the few lawsuits awaiting him.
