"He's a slave-owning mafia boss"
British Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, n a speech to the UN Security Council, accused Putin of running a mafia state and compared him to a slave owner.
The torch is burning between London and Moscow; the United Kingdom has said that it's in favor of strikes with long-range weapons on Russian territory, which has rekindled the Kremlin's hostility towards the British.
For their part, and for the moment, Joe Biden and the United States have not taken any decision in this direction, and according to political analysts, it seems unlikely that a decision in this direction will be implemented before the American elections.
In front of the UN, David Lammy gave a fiery speech against Russia:
"Russia sits on this council, but its actions tear up the UN charter, we saw it propose an amendment designed to ruin the future of the UN. Russia claims to defend the South, but it flouts international law. Vladimir Putin, when you fire missiles at Ukrainian hospitals, we know who you are, when you send mercenaries to African countries, we know who you are."
Before concluding:
"Your invasion is in your own interest, yours alone, in order to expand your mafia state into a mafia empire."
