Former Russian PM announces chilling objective
Dmitry Medvedev, the former Russian president and prime minister, has hinted that "Moscow will achieve its goal of destroying the Ukrainian state in the space of a decade"
The Kremlin's news service, TASS, published headlines such as, "Medvedev admitted that Ukraine will no longer exist in 2034" and "Medvedev admitted that Ukraine will no longer exist in 2034; he has predicted its demise."
Medvedev's suggestion that Russia will be able to "destroy Ukraine" by 2034 is undoubtedly "a promise to the Russian people that Moscow will be able to win the war and achieve its goal of destroying the Ukrainian state within a decade".
