Biden has one last gruesome parting gift for Zelensky
The United States hesitated for a long time, but has now decided to supply anti-personnel mines to Ukraine. So writes The Washington Post.
The U.S. hesitated for a long time because such anti-personnel mines pose an unacceptably high risk to civilians. But Zelensky allegedly promised Biden that U.S. anti-personnel mines will not be used in densely populated areas. That guarantee, on the sidelines of Russia's advance in the east and the nuclear threat, proved enough for the Biden administration to allow the delivery.
