According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, Vladimir Putin is losing one soldier every 49 seconds as Russia continues to suffer heavy human losses since the beginning of the war.

Kyiv made this statement after claiming that 1,770 Russian soldiers were killed on Sunday alone, though this figure has not been independently verified.

According to Kyiv's reports, more than 712,610 Russian soldiers have died in over two years of conflict, which has reportedly led Moscow to seek assistance from Pyongyang.

Ukrainian intelligence suggests that Kim Jong Un has ordered the deployment of a 12,000-strong contingent to Russia, with part of this force already stationed in Russia's Kursk region.

Ukraine has inflicted significant damage on the Russian army, partly due to Western-supplied weaponry and the improved technology of drones, which have been used to target sites within Russia.

Last week, Kyiv announced that it had already struck North Korean forces.
