Josep Borrell to visit Ukraine on Saturday to reaffirm Europe's support following Trump's victory.
The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Affairs, Josep Borrell, arrived in Kiev early on Saturday in order to reaffirm to Ukrainian authorities the bloc's commitment to continue supporting Ukraine, just a few days after Republican candidate, Donald Trump, won the US presidential election.
"Nobody knows exactly what the new administration will do, and President Biden's administration is still in power and can make decisions in the next two months," Borrell told the delegation of journalists accompanying him upon his arrival.
He also asked about the possibility that Trump would decide to end Washington's military aid to Kiev, as suggested by the Republican leader's entourage.
