Striking workers hold keys to 200 new cars 'hostage'
Employees of Audi Brussels in Vorst, Belgium, have confiscated the keys to finished and unfinished cars until they receive clarity about the future of the factory. The employees have also stopped work.
According to a trade union source, there are approximately 200 cars across the site, while VTM NIEUWS reports 250 cars. All keys are now kept in a safe place.
The Audi Q8 e-tron is not as successful as expected. The factory in Brussels is now doomed. Especially since the manufacturer has not assigned a new model to it. This news resulted in the employees not returning to work on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.
