Suddenly, hot air balloon crashes into radio tower...the tower collapses
The scary scene takes place in New Mexico, USA. As the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta celebrates its 52nd edition, things are about to take an unexpected turn.
The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is an annual festival where nearly 600 hot air balloons gather, each more original than the other. It's a true explosion of colors that takes place in the sky every year, during 9 days in October. And this time, the organizers were shocked by the shattering arrival of one of the balloons on dry land.
On October 11, a hot air balloon suddenly crashed into a radio tower, causing it to collapse. The local radio station KKOB was therefore deprived of airwaves. Fortunately, the balloon was able to land safely, without causing any injuries.
