“I was in agony": YouTuber gets buried alive for 7 days
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is confronting one of the worst human phobias: being buried alive.
This is a challenge the American had already set himself in 2021, when he spent 50 hours underground. He did it again in November 2023, and this time, the difficulty went up a notch. He spent 7 days between 4 planks, under ten tons of earth. Inside his glass box, he kills time by sleeping and activating dumbbells to prevent the formation of blood clots, the cause of phlebitis (sometimes fatal).
19 liters of water, heaps of reheatable combat rations and bottles for urinating... Even if, physically, the 25-year-old can hold out, his brain can't stand the confinement. In fact, on the 4th day of the experiment, in front of his 215 million subscribers, he admited to being in mental agony.
