Chinese zoo paints dogs as pandas
At a zoo in Guangdong Province, China, visitors discovered that the featured “pandas” were actually… painted dogs.
The alarm was raised when several visitors noticed that the supposed pandas were barking and panting. In response to these deceptive accusations, the zoo management claims to have hidden nothing. “These are painted Chow Chows, it’s one of our specialties,” said an official.
The zoo also justified that due to its small size, it cannot accommodate real pandas. To avoid any confusion in the future, a sign was installed near the cage, stating: “We are called panda dogs, dogs that look like pandas (…). We are kind, intelligent, affectionate, cute and adorable.”
