Trump denies Hitler statements
According to his former chief of staff John Kelly, Donald Trump has in the past praised Adolf Hitler and said he “wants generals like Hitler had.”
Trump denies the allegations, but Camala Harris used the announcement in advance to warn voters. “Trump does not want a military that is loyal to the U.S. Constitution, he wants a military that is loyal to him,” Harris said.

But the Republican presidential candidate denies he would ever have said such a thing. “No, I never said that. I would never say that,” Trump said. The Atlantic, which wrote about the statements, he called a “rag” and a “failing magazine.”
According to Kelly, Trump had also repeatedly said that “Hitler did some good things too,” but Trump denied those statements too when reporters asked him about them Thursday, “Never said that.” By the way, Trump's running mate JD Vance said Thursday that Kelly is a disgruntled former employee who is angry because he was fired by Trump, and therefore makes up all kinds of nonsense about him.
