Sweden develops technology that can use 100 drones at the time

Sweden has developed military technology that allows a single operator to control 100 drones at the same time.

Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson revealed that the latest swarming technologies will be showcased during the upcoming Arctic Strike exercise.

The Nordic nation, which recently became the latest member of NATO, appears to be accelerating its rearmament efforts in preparation for potential conflict.

The minister emphasized that Sweden must take bold steps to strengthen its defense forces. Speaking about the new technology, he explained that it took five years to bring the project to fruition.

With this technology, a single soldier can control up to 100 drones simultaneously to gather intelligence.

Pal Jonson also noted that the drone swarm is capable of performing multiple tasks at once.

"An example of this could be finding, locating and identifying hostile objects. The drones in the swarm can divide the tasks among themselves. They go home and charge their batteries when needed and then return to the task," said the minister.
