Did parents stab their 14-year-old daughter to death? England in thrall to gruesome murder
Simon (48) and Sarah (44) from Darlington, in North East England, appeared in Newton Aycliffe District Court on Monday and remain detained on suspicion of murdering their 14-year-old daughter.
14-year-old Scarlett was stabbed to death at home in their townhouse. She received a knife wound to the chest area and succumbed to her injuries. For now, the parents are refusing to cooperate with the investigation and are remaining completely silent. According to police, there was "an incident at home that resulted in a fatal stabbing."
