Will Ukraine restore nuclear power?
The German publication Bild cited a senior Ukrainian official and reported that Ukraine is considering the possibility of restoring the nuclear arsenal lost in the 1990s.
According to the source, the country has the necessary materials and knowledge, and with a proper order, the first nuclear bomb could be created in a few weeks.
The official also said that the West should focus less on Russian "red lines" and take Ukraine's interests more into account.
However, the presidential office denied this information, stressing that Ukraine doesn't plan to restore its nuclear weapons.
Later, Vladimir Zelensky himself denied this information. Earlier, he stressed that Ukraine is counting on NATO membership to ensure its security.
